Mission Statement

The Eloy Community Development Department provides design guidance, reviews zoning and subdivision applications, and shapes public policy related to growth and development. We are committed to proactive, community-based planning founded on public participation, and to the building of livable, sustainable communities.  The city is currently updating it's General Plan we recommend citizens and interested parties participate.

2010 Eloy General Plan

The mission of the Community Development Department is to provide recommendation, education, information, and leadership products to citizens of Eloy so they can enjoy a quality of life enriched by choices in housing and transportation, efficient use of public infrastructure, distinctive community character, and a robust civic life.

Smart Growth Scorecard

The Arizona Smart Growth Scorecard is designed to strengthen the ability of local officials to plan for future growth and development and to adopt comprehensive strategies that address growth related pressures for specific communities. Zoning Ordinance

The purpose of the Zoning Ordinance is to provide the minimum requirements for the implementation of the City of Eloy General Plan; to provide for procedures that respond uniformly and consistently to development proposals; to guide, control, and regulate the future growth and development of the City; to enhance the character and the stability of the residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas of the City.  Please see the Code Book for the most up to date versions.

Building Safety
