Statement
To provide
efficient, timely, accurate and reliable financial
data/services to the citizens of Eloy. The Finance
Department is responsible for all financial management
activities for the City in addition to directing the
collection and disbursement of public funds by establishing
and maintaining an accounting system that is in accordance
with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
The services that are performed by the Finance Department
include accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial
reporting, audit coordination/scheduling, utility billing,
accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, debt
management, procurement services, and asset management. We
utilize the team concept, enabling technology and personal
responsibility to carry out our departmental
responsibilities and achieve our goals. We are proud to be
of service to the community of Eloy.
Business License Application
Pursuant to
City Code
Section 12-1, all individuals conducting business within the
City of Eloy limits must obtain a business license.
It is the duty of this
department to maintain accurate record of businesses
registered with the City and issue business licenses to
those who conduct business within the City Limits of
Eloy. These records are forwarded to the Arizona Department
of Revenue, who assures that businesses are reporting taxes
and paying sales tax revenue to the City.

depending on what type of business and the location of the

Ordinance #07-688
**Effective July 1, 2007, business licenses will no longer
be prorated quarterly.** License fees herein may be prorated
to one-half (½) the amount required if the proposed licensee
will be open for business only after July 1.
Sales Tax ID Information
To obtain a
copy of the Arizona Department of Revenue Business
License-Joint Tax Application Form (a Sales Tax
ID) please

here to print and fill out the form. The form needs to
be sent or personally delivered to the Arizona Department of
Revenue. Please do not submit this application with your
business license application. The Eloy City Clerks Office
does not handle sales
tax identification numbers. A City license will not be
issued without a sales tax identification number if one is

Registrar
of Contractor's License Information
Please
provide us with a copy of your Registrar of Contractor's
License number, if you are a contractor or you are business
that is required to have one. For those businesses who do
not have a Registrar of Contractor's License number, please
click here to apply
for one with the State of Arizona. A City license may be issued without an ROC number
contingent upon approval; however, any and all advertisement
for the business must state "NOT A LICENSED CONTRACTOR."

The
Easiest Way to Pay Your Bill
Our new online bill payment
option saves you time and gives you more flexibility in how
you pay your bill. If you have an Internet connection and an
e-mail address, you can now pay your bill online. It’s fast,
it’s easy, and you no longer have to write a check each
month or find a stamp when it’s time to send in your
payment.
How
It Works
We have partnered with Xpress Bill Pay, the premier provider
for online bill payment systems.
When you sign up for online
bill payment you get a unique password that you use to
access your personal account at
www.XpressBillPay.com. Every
month we’ll send you a reminder e-mail to let you know when
your bill is online.
Then, just log in through
your Web browser and view your bill, which will look like
the paper statement you’re familiar with. Select a payment
type — credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer
— enter the information, and you’re done!
It’s that easy, and it only
takes you a few minutes each month.
How
to Sign Up
1) Go to
www.XpressBillPay.com. We
have partnered with Xpress Bill Pay to provide you with
online bill payment service.
2) Click on “Create a free
account.” If you’ve already signed up with Xpress Bill Pay,
you can log in with your e-mail address and password.
3) Follow the instructions on
the screen. You will need a valid e-mail address to create
an account. Once you’ve submitted your information, you will
receive a default password by e-mail.
4) Go back to
www.XpressBillPay.com and
log in using your e-mail address and password. The “Add
e-Bills” page appears. Follow the instructions on the
screens to add us to your Xpress Bill Pay account.
Once you’ve created an
account, you’ll be able to go online at any time to view and
pay your bills.

A: Not at all. You can pay your bill from anywhere in the
world! All you need is access to the Internet through a Web
browser. You then log in to your account using your e-mail
address and password. No need to worry about late payments
if you’re out of town when your bill is due.

How do I know the payment went through?
A: After you complete the transaction, you can receive an
e-mail receipt to confirm that your payment went through.

A: Absolutely. All the transactions are handled on secure
servers. As long as you don’t give out your password, only
